Tu veux out u veux pas! Gilbert Becaud would never have dared to dream that he’d be used as a style icon at the end of 1980 for a band from Hasselt, Limburg. But then in a peculiar post punk concept; black in an early stage and quick changing into hard, dark no wave inspired by contemporaries of New York. Concerts were scarse and despite treats as porn mags, flour and butcher’s delicatessen for their audience, O Veux remained known to a glorious incrowd. Between 1982 en 1985 they released some records in collaboration with well known names such as Luc van Acker, Nasmak en Theo Van Eenbergen. Some tape releases almost were forgotten until they were recycled in 2016 and 2017 by Onderstroom Records (B), Walhalla Records (B) en Softspot Music (US). Reasons enough for the band to start working on new material. New but still staying true to their unique style and sound. Back to the madness in the dark basement filled with bass & drums, electro & guitars.
