Having initially nearly no skills in playing any musical instrument, but still starting a band that eventually becomes legendary? That’s what punk’s all about! At the end of the 70s Hamont’s (Belgium) residents shudder when they hear the name “De Brassers”. These lads were a bunch of rascals who, at the time, occasionally wrote some slogans on the churches’ wall. But above all they should be remembered as top class musicians who made some genius anarchistic (some even say nihilistic) post punk songs. Shortly after starting the band, the punks broke up. Luckily in no time they reunited. Meanwhile even a complete new generation discovered the sound of these Belgian punks and nowadays forty years later, these guys are still one of the best in their genre.
