It is no coincidence that Richard H. Kirk, Stephen Mallinder and Chris Watson chose Swiss café where Dadaism was originated as a group name. Founded in 1973 and together with Hula, The Human League and Clock DVA one of the most important (not to say the most important!) electro-industrial bands from Sheffield. Their first material excels in experiment, but with Nag Nag Nag being a huge cult hit in 1978, their music became more accessible and you could regularly hear songs like Yashar or Sensoria in new wave clubs. At the end of the eighties, the story of Cabaret Voltaire came to an end, but four years ago Richard H Kirk decided to tour again
as Cabaret Voltaire. What Kirk will do on Sinner's Day is still unsure, you surely can say with certainty that this is a must see.
